WELCOME!

Dating back to the 17th Century, The Swan is a traditional pub, based on the High Street in Thornbury, a historic market town on the outskirts of Bristol. The Swan is an original coach house, indeed the oldest pub in Thornbury and the only one to retain its original name. With great cask beers, home-cooked food, a B&B and regular events, we have lots to offer both locals and visitors to our beautiful market town.

We serve traditional pub grub alongside a regularly changing seasonal menu, offering something for everyone. Many of our dishes are homemade, prepared with care, and we proudly source our meat from trusted local suppliers to ensure quality and freshness.

Popped in for lunch, three adults and a very well behaved dog. This pub is truly a gem, lovely selection of beers/ciders and an incredible varied menu. The food was fabulous, huge portions and delicious!

Every visit is 5☆. Fantastic value, quality, service, setting...vegetarian option is simply delicious. Opted for fried bread today for a change. Definitely will return, strongly suggest you, the reader, visit too.
